Game 14 Loss 6-4 aka "Noyes' slo mo throw"

This is just your average first pitch thrown out by a T-Rex at the White Sox game. If you notice, the T-Rex has finished his windup, yet the ball is still next to his head. This was EXACTLY how Noyes threw the ball over to Crowley at first. His follow through was over, he could have even tied his shoe...yet the ball was still somehow beside his head on the way over to Crowley. Amazing
Bats were cold after the break and we couldnt really put a bunch of hits together. Damn you Demons.

Game 13 Loss 20-3 aka "Window Pain"

The hometown team took the hill first and the flood gates opened. Bomb to center, Bomb to left, rope down the line, liner to third, bomb to left, bomb to center...strikeout...bomb to center, you get the picture. It amazes me they were able to do all of this without and speed or any walks.

Josh's buddies took their at bats in
the next few innings and didnt do very well (understatement). Coming up to the plate, you almost thought it was a bunch of B-list stunt doubles. Couldn't knock off the rust the entire game. Sully had two hits, McGrath gave it a ride to right a few times, but we couldnt muster up much of anything that led to short at bats and looooong fielding time.

We tried the shift, having no SS. This actually helped but in retrospect maybe keep the SS there and have 3 OF's with an OF Rover that plays like Sully did last night. Take that first inning away and we held our own, just didn't hit. I tried to throw it low, high, actually throwing one up about 20 feet that Crowley found very amusing. At times I felt my life was in danger and decided to pitch 10 feet behind the rubber. Boonton played a nice CF. One defensive highlight was Crowley running to cover second from his 1B position as MBags fired it over to first, almost reaching Stevie Paz's pad...instant classic.
A real nightcap came around 9:30 when the Wet Bandits right fielder sailed one over 3B and smashed Crowley windshield (parked there by none other than TC). Quoting Eminem..."I guess that's why they call it wondow pain"
Nice of T. Smith to stop by the game, too bad he picked that one. Rebound against the Demons on Thurs, not sure who Josh and Crupi are playing for yet.
